Connect ChatGPT or Claude

Use your linked Sleeper leagues and saved priorities in either host. Connector access is currently limited to approved CoManager accounts.

Set up the connection

Use this server address when adding CoManager:

https://app.comanager.app/mcp

  1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, select Add, then choose the option for a custom server. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and add a custom connector.
  2. Name it CoManager and enter the server address. In ChatGPT, choose OAuth, acknowledge the custom-server warning and select Create as a plugin. In Claude, keep the detected OAuth settings, add the connector and select Connect. Review the discovered read tools. Sign in with the CoManager account that has your linked Sleeper league.
  3. Review the read-access disclosure and approve the connection. Return to your host and enable CoManager for the conversation.

Host settings can differ by account or workspace. See the current ChatGPT instructions or Claude instructions.

Start with a normal question

  • Who should I pick up this week?
  • What am I trying to do with this team?
  • Would a trade with [manager's name] make sense?

Give the league name if asked. You can follow up with “Who would you cut?” or ask how a manager's recorded trades affect a proposed deal.

CoManager supplies rosters, available players, saved goals and trade restrictions, plus dated projections and usage when available. Your host gives the answer. Make roster moves in Sleeper and edit lasting priorities in CoManager.

If something is missing

If your league is missing, check that it is linked to the CoManager account you used to sign in. If CoManager is not being used in the conversation, check that it is enabled in your host.

If you changed a saved priority in the app, tell your assistant and ask it to read the current priorities again.

If access is refused and you expected it to work, email support with your host, league, the approximate time and the displayed error. Do not send a password or access token.

Disconnect

Manage connections in CoManager to stop a client's future access. Information already shared may remain in that client's conversations. To use it again, reconnect from the host and approve a new connection.

Read the privacy policy for what is shared and retained.

Connector reference

The tools available to your client depend on the access approved for your account and each league. A connection does not grant every tool. The standard catalog includes league listing, roster dossiers, recorded trades, saved priorities and available players. Other approved accounts may have the tools below.

  • list_my_leagues: linked leagues and the reads available for each; results are paginated.
  • get_roster_dossier: your roster or a named manager's roster and saved context.
  • get_leaguemate_trade_history: recorded trades and coverage, for you or one manager.
  • get_saved_priorities: saved goals, trade restrictions and protected players.
  • get_top_free_agents: a bounded available-player shortlist and dated football evidence.
  • get_lineup_context: weekly roles, health, usage, schedule and projection evidence; no lineup changes.
  • get_player_news: dated reporting and source links; may refresh stored news.
  • get_player_perspectives: stored analyst perspectives, freshness and citation permissions.
  • get_app_reports: saved reports, frozen content and exact app links; creates no report and does not mark one read.
  • get_trade_market: potential partners and both-roster fit; sends no offer.
  • get_week_results: recorded starters and league-scored points for a week; may refresh stored results.
  • compare_trade_lineups: complete-exchange lineup effects; executes no trade.
  • send_answer_to_comanager: saves one selected question and answer when you ask to share it; optional feedback is kept for up to 90 days, or until you delete it or disconnect the connection.

Answer sharing, news refresh and weekly-result refresh are marked as writes. They do not move players, place claims, send offers or collect payments. Host permission choices vary. A read-only connection must exclude write tools; identity and session scopes alone do not restrict the tool catalog.

Each request checks current account access, consent and league membership. App chat and reports require a CoManager pass. A saved report describes its creation context; it is not automatically current advice.

Clients send separate requests and receive structured results. The connection does not keep a server-event stream open. Connection discovery is at https://app.comanager.app/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp. Limits are 300 tool attempts and a separate 600 protocol requests per hour per account, a 20-second request deadline, a 64 KiB request body and a 128 KiB tool result. A saved report's body is limited to 96 KiB. Data can be incomplete, stale or unavailable; errors and coverage identify those states.

Exact tool inputs and annotations are in the tool schema reference. This October 16, 2026 snapshot lists the possible catalog, including account-gated tools. Your client's actual tool list determines what your account can call. OAuth identity/session scopes are openid profile email offline_access. The issuer and its registration endpoints are discovered from the protected-resource document; each host must use its own verified callback.
